My Day In 10 Pictures Challenge!
Hi everyone! I was so excited to do this challenge when Lily of Lily Mae's Days tagged me over at her blog. It's taken me a little while to get the photos up, but I had fun with it and took a different way of the challenge with a lot of still lives. 🙂
The rules for the tag are simple:
~Take 10 photos of your daily day
~Tag 2 or more bloggers
The picture above is at breakfast. My parents wake up at 5:30, and then my brothers and us girls wake up at 6:15. We have family worship before my eldest brother leaves for school, and then we have breakfast. In the winter, that's oatmeal and sometimes muffins for us. In the summer, it's cereal or eggs.
We do chores, and if bread needs to be made for the night's dinner, my Mom or I start then- that way it's done in time and we don't have to worry about it.
We start school (we're homeschooled, yes) at eight o' clock, or for a few of us, eight thirty. My sister Pumpkin Spice and Blue Eyes are often paired together in teaching Blue Eyes flashcards or the like. 💗
I watch Mickey Mozart in the playroom a lot, as we all do during the day. (Yes, he likes to make messes!!)
My current farming chore is to take care of our two bunnies, Beatrix and Cottontail. My second oldest brother is in charge of the chickens & goats.
In the afternoon, I finish up school and have a bunch of free time. That's usually when I grab my camera and take pictures, like the one above of our fire stove.
From 2:45 to 3:45 is my computer time- when I usually get blogging and e-mails caught up. Sometimes I start earlier if anyone else isn't on the computer at the time, since we share a family Mac.
In the evening, I practice violin or piano. Currently I'm not very good at either, but I have fun trying to learn, "Dawn," from Pride and Prejudice (SO hard people!) or learning violin from this online tutor. (She's amazing guys!)
In the evening, we (us kids) all try to get in bed by eight or eight-thirty. My in-bedtime is 9:45, while I can read until ten o' clock. From eight to nine I sometimes sew for our Etsy shop if needed.
So that's it! Did you think my day was any different, or about the same?
Thanks Lily for tagging me! And now I tag...
