4th of July || Recap

Hey everyone! I know I'm superrrr late posting this- but here's a fun recap of some pics that I took on America's Independence Day. It was a SUPER hot day but lots of fun going to our friend's house, and then to fireworks that night.

Above is a self-portrait I took- I'm smiling, but it was 97* degrees outside!! 🔥

Blue Eyes in front of our friend's barn

Kittens! Lots of cats on their property <^..^>

This is a little girl I like to be a mother's helper to! <3 She is the cutest little 2-year old everrrr!!

Had fun watching our town's local fireworks!

Life has been very, very busy, but very fulfilling. I have been a mother's helper to four kids off and on in the past month, been doing summer school (annual testing ;P ), playing violin, running errands, and praying a lot about my future.

I know I've told my hopes and dreams to you all about being a photographer when I turn 16, but that's changed... I know now that God's calling me to be a missionary. I am totally unsure about where He's calling me, but for now Uganda is on my heart. I know I may not be able to go until I am married, but I am already raising money over at my Poshmark closet (@sassydass) and would appreciate all the prayers I can get. It's totally incredible how God changes your life. I thought for sure that I was being called to be a child/family photographer (and I might still do that to raise money so I can go one day), but God's really changed my heart. I read Katie Davis Major's "Daring To Hope," and that's what changed my mind completely. He brought me to tears, and I know that some kind of missions work is going to be apart of my life. Please pray for me! And thank you if you do! Ya'll are the best. ♥️♥️

How has your summer been so far?

Hadassah <3

  1. Looks like you had a lovely fourth! We got rained out at the end. Keep praying over the Lord's will! He'll make a way in due time. <3

  2. Looks like you had fun!
I live in Texas and *97 degrees is everyday here!

  3. Hello Hadassah!
That's awesome! Thanks so much for sharing! I have read Katie Davis' first book, Kisses from Katie, as well as part of Daring to Hope.
When I was 11 God spoke to me about being a missionary to India, and I am excited to see what that looks like and where He leads. I wish you blessings! It will be so exciting to see how He uses your life (& already is using it) to bring glory to Him!

I first found your blog through your link on Kingdom's Pen (my username there was @delightinlife) and we talked about how we have both done Aladdin. Since then I've really enjoyed reading your blog!

    Keep writing for the Kingdom!

    Blessings, xx

  4. Hi Hadassah, this is my first comment here but I've been enjoying your blog for a while! I love your photos, especially the ones of your little siblings. :) I will be praying for you. Change is hard, I know. Keep following God. It's wonderful that you're willing to be used by Him. Keep us updated please!
